The Black Prince


The Black Prince is a 2017 international historical drama film directed by Kavi Raz and featuring the acting debut of Satinder Sartaaj. It tells the story of Duleep Singh, the last Maharajah of the Sikh Empire and the Punjab area, and his relationship with Queen Victoria.
This movie talked about two cultures. Duleep Singh torn between two cultures and facing constant dilemmas as a result. The relationship between Duleep singh and Queen Victoria is shown very impactful. The Queen representing the English culture he was drawn into. Maharaja Duleep Singh is placed on the throne at the age of five. In 1849, the young prince was removed from the throne and separated from his mother. Dr. John Login protected him. Duleep Singh met Queen Victoria at England at the age of 15. They developed their relationships .
Duleep Sing met to his mother and reestablished the relationship. Then he decided to return to India to reclaim his kingdom. But it was continually thwarted by British colonial politics. The Black Prince began a lifelong struggle to reclaim his kingdom.

Midnight’s Children


Midnight’s children is a 2012 Canadian British film adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s 1981 novel of the same name. The film features an ensemble cast of Satya Bhabha , Shriya Saran, Siddharth Narayan, Ronit Roy, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azami, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Seema Biswas, Shahana Goswami,  Samrat Chakrabharti, Rahul Bose, Soha Ali Khan, Anita Majumdar, and Darsheel Safari. With a Screen play by Rushdie and directed by Deepa Mehta, the film began principal photography in Colombo, Sri Lanka in February 2011 and wrapped in May 2011. Shooting was kept a secret as Mehta feared protests by Islamic fundamentalist groups. Saleem Sinai is born in Mumbai at the same moment that the independent nation of India is born. Saleem is very self centered and self conscious. He told the whole story. In Saleem’s narrative, history, memory, and fantasy are represented by three powerful metaphors: pickling, a perforated sheet, and a silver spittoon inlaid with lapis lazuli. These metaphors permeate the story.
