Book Review - One night @the call centre

I read #One_night_@_the_call_centre book of #Chetan_Bhagat. #Chetan_Bhagat is an Indian author, columnist, screenwriter, television personality and motivational speaker, know for his Indian English novels about young urban middle class Indians.

One night @the call centre is written by Chetan Bhagat. There are 6 employees (Priyanka, Shyam, Vroom, Esha, Radhika, Military Uncle) who working in the Connexions call center in Gurgaon Haryana. The whole book told about the story of one night. All characters are sad or confused in their own life. Radhika is upset with her husband and mother in law on that night. She is cheated by her husband. Esha is also guilty because she slept with men for her ambition. Priyanka is cheated by Ganesh. Vroom and Shyam also created by Bakshi. Military uncle is upset because he left his family(he couldn't accept modern ideas). The story takes a drama and decisive turn through a literal deus ex machina when the employees get a phone call from god. In the beginning, we can see that the novel is started with the journey from Kanpur to Delhi. A beautiful girl met to author and told the whole story with a condition that he has to make it his second book.

As we all know that Chetanbhagat is very popular author. He used very simple language in his books. I read this book with a single sitting. I completed this book in a day. He tried to show the problems of young generation. The book is very interesting and not a bulky book.

The Alchemist - book review

આ ક્વોરનટાઇન વેકેશન મા જો કઈ આત્મસંતોષ મળે એવુ વાંચન કયુઁ હોય તો એ છે The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. આજ સુધી માત્ર મેં Paulo Coelho ની વાતો જ સાંભળેલી હતી પરંતુ આજે સ્વયં વાંચીને તેને અનુભવ્યું પણ. The Alchemist નવલક્થા એ સૌથી શ્રેષ્ઠ નવલક્થા માની એક નવલ કથા છે. જેનું 67 ભાષા મા અનુવાદ થયેલું છે અને 10 કરોડ થી પણ વધારે પ્રતો નું વેચાણ થયેલું છે. નવલ કથા ના ફ્રન્ટ પેજ પર એક ખૂબ સરસ વાકય લખ્યું છે : "જયારે આપણે કંઈક મેળવવાની ઈચ્છા મન થી કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે દુનિયા ની સમગ્ર શક્તિ આપણી મદદે આવે છે ". આ નવલક્થા મા ઘણા સંઘર્ષ બતાવા મા આવ્યા છે જે અમુક લોકો વચ્ચે ના પણ હતા અને પોતાની જાત સાથે ના પણ હતા. પોતાના હૃદય એટલે કે મન ને કેવી રીતે કાબુમાં લેવું એની વાત છે. ગુજરાતી કેહવત છે કે :"મન હોય તો માળવે જવાય " એમજ જો મન થી મક્કમ હોય તો કોઈ પણ કામ સફળતા પૂર્વક પૂર્ણ કરી શકાય. અને ધ્યેય ની પ્રાપ્તિ કરી શકાય. અને આ વાત ને ખૂબ જ સારી રીતે બતાવામાં આવિ છે આ નવલક્થા મા. આધ્યાત્મિકતા ની ઝલક દેખાય આવે છે અને સાથે સાથે દ્રઢ શ્રદ્ધા અને શુકનો ની પણ વાતો કરવામાં આવિ છે....

Youth Festival 2018: Academic Task

Our University has organised "Aishvaryam Youth Festival 2018" for 3 days from 26/10/2018 to 28/10/2018. Many events were organised in the youth festival. They are: Kalayatra, Quiz, poetry recitation, on the spot painting, mimicry, bhajan, cartooning, paper collage, mono acting, sugam geet, folk dance, solo folk dance, western dance, western solo dance, folk orchestra, essay writing, elocution, rangoli...etc,.
