On 16th July 2019,film screening of 'The Scarlet Letter' was organised by Heenaba Zala. The Scarlet Letter novel is written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The Scarlet Letter is a 1995 American romantic drama film. It was directed by Roland Joffe and stars Demi Moore, Gary Oldman, and Robert Duvall.
During watched the movie, I noted some points. The movie is near to the #natural_elements. Location wise the movie is very good. In this movie we can find that people farming. Hester the protagonist of the novel or movie is shown as a #strong_woman. We can find the #patriarchal_society in this movie. There was a scene of #red_bird. It is signified the symbolism. The #slavery_system is also shown in the movie. The movie also indicate the books of #John_Milton. It is clearly indicate that the age is #puritan_age. When I watch the movie I can see the same hair styles and clothes of women and they are looked like a #Nun. And when the camera is focuse on main characters on the background we can see the childrens played behind them. In the movie, there was a scene in which Dimmesdale told about #Bible_Translation. And also we can see the #festival in the movie. And the people used #drum for shaming Hester for her sin. There was a scene in which women were doing #knitting_work. We can see the #pussasive_nature of #Chillingworth. And he end of the movie is happy.
But the whole movie is not went with novel. Because some scenes and dialogues are different from the novel in the movie. The #end of the movie is different from the novel. At last we can interpret it that the movie is failed because the people likes just to watch the movie. It has a #typical_end.
After watching the movie we can interpret that the movie based on novels are not the same as the novel.
Then ma'am gave opportunity to keep our points and arguments against the movie. Because of this opportunities we can improve our critical thinking skills.
I want to say thanks to #Heenabazala. And also thanks to our head Dr. Dilip Barad sir who gave the all types of  opportunities and freedom to good use of digital platform.

The Pinteresque features of The Birthday Party

The Pinteresque features of The Birthday Party In roduction:- Two of the notable facts about Harold Pinter were, first , that he was a Jew, born of Jewish parents, and , second, that he worked as an actor for some time before he became a playwright. Pinter was born on the 10 th October, 1930 in   Hackney , a London borough. By the time of his birth the Jewish population of North London had risen from about 5000 in 1880 to about 40,000. The North London Jewry was known for its solid middle class respectability and religious conformity. In view of the economic insecurity which the family felt, Pinter’s father worked very hard, working twelve hours a day, making clothes. Eventually, however the old man lost his business and had to work for somebody else. Pinter never forgot this situation in his early life – the combination of calm and unrest beauty and ugliness; and these qualities permeate his work. Personal history had deeply influenced all Pinter’s writing.
